The Globe

The Globe is a clear glass sphere table lamp by Oluce. Designed by Joe Colombo in 1964, the lamp was also produced in a pendant or wall lamp version. The pendant model is also available in two different sizes of 20 and 30 cm diameter. The Globe is a design project that combines form and function: the transparent blown glass sphere contains a cylindrical metal reflector that diffuses light into the space. The internal structure and metal details can be customised in satin nickel, gold and anodic bronze finishes. The three versions make this lamp a versatile furnishing accessory, ideal on desks, desks, in sleeping areas or refined living rooms with a retro character.
