Deliveries

Our strategic logistics partner is DHOMEO - furniture home delivery, a company specialised in last mile delivery and installation of furniture and home deco items for houses, offices and outdoors.

Furniture Specialised Carriers

diotti.com delivers mostly relying on furniture specialised carriers to guarantee a high standard service and product integrity during shipping; small packages and some replacements may be delivered by express couriers. All our shipments include an All Risk insurance.

Upon availability of the supply, the Customer will receive a request to authorise the shipment, as well as an email of successful shipment in the following days. Then the logistics operator makes an Advance Telephone Notification (normally the day before delivery) indicating the time slot and day (Monday through Friday and usually from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm).

Shipping Times

Shipping Times have to be added to the Production Times found inside each Product Card. In Italy and in Europe you need around 2 working weeks, according to the destination (in USA and Canada around 4 - 6 weeks). View more information on Delivery Times.


Delivery Options

The Basket automatically shows the Delivery Services available, based on the inserted postal code and the total amount of the quote.
For quotes with a total higher than 2.000 euro we invite you to contact our Customer Care if the desired service does not appear as available in the Basket.

The Curbside Delivery with furniture specialised carrier is in front of the building, as close as possible to the entrance and reachable with the standard truck: the Client must collaborate with the driver to unload the packages from the side of the truck, sometimes providing other people depending on the measurements and weight of the purchased items. It is not a delivery by appointment: the availability of the client is considered by the logistics partners in accordance to their delivery route - Read more about the Curbside Delivery.

The Home Delivery is a delivery by appointment to the requested floor and inside the room indicated by the Client: it's responsibility of the Client to verify the technical feasibility of the delivery, by verifying the stairs and access ways, especially when the delivery includes "Bulky Packages" - Read more about the Home Delivery.

The Delivery with Assembly includes the home delivery, the assembling of the purchased furniture, and (unless specified exceptions) also the removal and disposal of packaging - Read more on the Delivery with Assembly.

The The Warehouse Pick-up can be made in Lentate sul Seveso (MB) - northern Italy: we strongly advise against entrusting the Warehouse Pick-up to shipping companies that are not specialised in furniture - Read more about the Warehouse Pick-up.


Warranty and Assistance


Legal Warranty


These are guarantees for consumers described in the Consumer Code (in the Civil Code for professional purchasers):
- covers any congenital defects or lack of conformity;
- duration of 24 months for private purchasers (12 months for professional purchasers);
- details and methods of application are defined precisely in the legal texts.


Standard Protection

It's always included, simply follow the Procedure for the Reception and Verification of the Products;
- covers anomalies connected to the movement of the packages (if reported within 48 hours and with a specific report on the shipping note on damaged packages);
- duration 48 hours from delivery;
- no deductible or maximum limit;
- coverage of any logistics costs.

CoverPlus Extra Protection

Optional paid extra coverage, pre-selected in the Basket (and freely removable):
- covers any anomalies connect to the handling (even those reported after 48 hours or without specific notification on the shipping document for damaged packages);
- covers any damage after delivery (and occurring during assembly, use or cleaning)
- valid for 60 days from delivery;
- no excess, maximum coverage of € 1,000.00 on products or parts;
- 50% discount on any logistics costs.

In order to submit a claim on a possible anomaly, it is necessary to fill out promptly the following online form: "Report of an Anomaly"

DESTINATIONS OUTSIDE THE EU

For deliveries outside the European Union, the Italian VAT is removed from the Total Amount.
Shipping to anywhere outside the EU may attract local customs and duty charges, which are beyond our control and based on the customs laws of the receiving territory. We advise checking with your local authorities for import fees.

Deliveries in the UK and Switzerland are automatically calculated including local VAT, export and import taxes and customs procedures; for the UK an EORI number will be asked at the moment of the order to smooth customs procedures.
