Delivery with Assembly

The assembly service includes delivery to the customer's home, to the floor specified, in the room indicated by the customer and assembly of the furniture; removal and disposal of packaging is almost always provided, but there may be situations that prevent this (e.g. for deliveries to Switzeraland).

Delivery with Assembly includes Home Delivery as the standard option, we therefore recommend that you learn more about the Delivery Service Conditions, in particular with regards to Accessible Stairways, Bulky Packages and Aerial Ladders.

THE ROLE OF THE CUSTOMER

The customer is required to be present and relatively involved at the time of the assembly. If this is not possible, it is very important for the customer to delegate his/her presence to people who are fully informed of the customer's expectations and preferences, how the assembly service is to be carried out and who will also have authority to make decisions when dealing with the assemblers.

It is the Customer's responsibility:
1- to have the entrance and assembly area cleared of any obstacles and in a overall clean state;
2- provide access to the electrical power supply in the designated area;
3- point out the location of any installations potentially in conflict with the assembly of the furniture (normally electrical or plumbing installations that may be hidden in the walls);
4- verify the adequacy of the walls with respect to the mounting of the furniture with the use of "standard" plugs (a thickness of 12 cm is necessary but not sufficient for the attachment of suspended furniture; additional factors such as the tensile strength of the covering panels or of the material inside the wall, or the plaster's resistance to vibration, are the full responsibility of the Client).
5- help the installation team to verify the compatibility of the parts before proceeding with the assembly;
6- confirm the placement of the furniture by indicating the exact location to the installers;
7- help the assembly team to check the compatibility of the furniture after the assembly has been completed.

TERMINATION OF WORK

Any anomalies found on the products or in the room may prevent the assembly from being completed: in these cases the installer assesses the situation to decide how to proceed and whether to complete the installation.

At the end of the assembly, the customer is required to check the furniture received with the installers and to initial the "Delivery Report" (in some cases this is a paper document consisting of 2 copies, in other cases it requires the initialling of a specific form on the assembler's device).

ITEMS NOT INCLUDED

The installation service does not include:
1- Removal and collection of used equipment;
2- Particular work such as cable holes or holes for electrical sockets (except for work that may be included with the purchased order)
3- Plumbing and electrical connections (and built-in appliances not purchased with the kitchen)
4- The use of chemical plugs for wall fixing (the use of standard plugs may not be suitable);
5- The assembly of any replacements parts that do not compromise the completion of the assembly (returns and / or replacements of such parts are provided with curbside delivery or you may be required to pay for additional assembly service);
6- Pendant, wall and ceiling lamps will not be installed;
7- Future adjustments that become necessary after the natural settlement of the furniture (e.g. adjustment of hinges, unhinging of sliding doors, adjustment of opening/movement mechanisms).
