Dayton

Dayton is a low sectional sofa with liftable backrests, also offered as an alternative or in combination with traditional back cushions resting on the backrest. The relax version features a mechanism with a double gas piston, which raises the back cushions to achieve maximum comfort in supporting the back up to the head; when the cushions are lowered they remain folded on the backrest, thus changing not only the seating mode but also the overall aesthetics of the sofa.
Formal balance of the volumes and rigorous proportions are softened by the eclectic spirit of this contemporary sofa: thanks to the ample modularity and the double type of backrest, sofas of various sizes and conformations, more or less structured, can be composed. Starting from the classic linear sofas with 2, 3 or 4 seats, the collection includes various linear elements or for corner use, chaise longues with or without armrests and ottomans.
The comfort of the Dayton sofa is guaranteed by the mixed padding that covers a solid wooden structure. The seats are shaped and non-slip, padded with polyurethane foam that makes them non-deformable yet comfortable and cosy; the back cushions are filled with a generous amount of siliconised down for maximum softness.
The upholstery is completely removable and draws from a vast sample book that includes plain or melange fabrics, fabrics with a more or less pronounced weave, chenilles, microfibres, velvets, natural, mixed or more technical fabrics, faux- leather or real leather.

Due to the natural texture of leather, there may be differences in the stitching between leather and fabric sofa covers.
To compose a corner sofa, the central and end elements can be put together perpendicularly, adding the appropriate corner backrest and any additional cushions.
