Atlantis Leather Two-tone nubuck grain leather with water-repellent treatment. Brushed surface for a suede-like and nubuck effect. The two-tone effect, typical of the Borbonese style, is obtained starting from the background colour of Nubuck leather upon which is printed a slightly contrasting pigmentation. This peculiar texture is called "bird's eye" and enhanced the texture of the leather with a peculiar micro-spotted pattern. European leather of bovine origin (Brittany, France - South of Germany): the use of bulls guarantee bigger hides. Chrome salts mineral tanning, barrel dyed with polyurethane aniline and barrel finishing with water-repellent treatment to make it resistant against water-based liquids. It is not a real "stain-resistant" material; it is true that the leather does not absorb a spilled liquid immediately, but it is highly recommended to dab it right away with an absorbent cloth, in order to avoid spots.For the everyday cleaning steps we recommended to use just a brush for clothes; in case of dirt, use a sage brush. For deeper stains you need to use first an abrasive cloth and, in case that is not enough, a specific detergent for Nubuck leathers.
