 3392 Bedroom Design Project

Customer Request
I need to refurbish a bedroom with private bathroom and then furnish it. For the bed size, I would like it to be for a 180 cm wide mattress, equipped with feet to easily clean below (in my account you will find the headboard I like). As a wardrobe I'd love to have one with sliding doors and since I don't have a lot of space I would opt for a wardrobe with reduced depth (50 cm). For the colours I like greys and purples but I'm also open to other suggestions. For the floor I still don't have clear ideas, I think we will go for tiles... however suggestions are well accepted. I'm sending you the images of the rest of the house so you can get an idea of the style.

The Interior Designer's Comment
For the furniture of this bedroom we opted for modern items, in line with the style and preferences of the client. The bed has sleek and clean lines and it is characterised by an XL headboard, which protrudes on the sides of the bed frame, and a sled-like base which makes everyday cleaning process definitely easier. We've chosen a dark blue cover made with a stain-resistant fabric very soft to the touch, almost velvety-like. The piping in relief is made of the same fabric but with a violet colour to create an elegant and sophisticated combination. Bedside tables have been selected for their minimalist style in line with the mood of the environment and for their compact size, in this way they remain perfectly included between the bed and the end of the headboard. The chosen finish in this case is a very particular RAL matt lacquer: it's a shimmering violet with a very bright tone that changes according to the lighting conditions. In order to use at best the bedside tables top, a great alternative to classic  table lamps are pendant ones: a trendy solution that gives a lot of advantages, not only aesthetic but also practical ones. In this case we opted for two lamps with a glass lampshade for a light and compact aesthetic effect and an extra thin wire that, having a vertical layout enhances the slim look of the room, which is in this case a little shorter than usual.
On the opposite side of the bed we have used the wall on all its length by adding a wardrobe with 5 sliding doors and reduced depth. The internal equipment for this type of wardrobe are vary and customisable according to the needs; in this case we added one or more shelves for each module, pull-out tubes for clothes and two chest of drawers. The finishes characterising the wardrobe are mainly two: Taupe Loto that gives a contemporary concrete-like texture and dark Elm which creates a pleasant contrast.
