Description

Conrad is an elegant dining table with a solid-wood base available in a round with a diameter of 140, 160 or 180 cm, or in a shaped rectangular version with a length of 240, 280, 300 or 350 cm. The 240cm and 280cm rectangular models come with a single base which is 180cm long. The larger tables of 300cm and 350cm feature two bases which are 81cm each and similar to the base on the round models. This table is characterised by the attention to detail and skilful working of the wood to create smooth and elegant shapes.
The tabletop with tapered edges creates a pleasant contrast with the solidity of the legs and is available in wood, open-pore lacquer matching the base, clear glass, or marble (White Carrara or Rainforest Brown).
The Conrad Table, thanks to the numerous sizes and materials available, is a timeless piece which is ideal in a modern living room or dining room, or alternatively in a sophisticated office or boardroom.

Top:
- wood: 2.5 cm thick; fastening to the structure is by means of a metal interlocking blade at the back of the top.
- marble: 2 cm thick with an under-top support panel; fastening to the structure with a concealed metal joint.
- glass: 1.2 cm thick; for round tables, the top has metal plates glued to the glass and a concealed metal joint; elliptical tops, on the other hand, are supported on leather die-cuts.

Marble: an elegant material, characterised by open veins that can sometimes have resin-based fillings that even out the top in the case of slight surface roughness, while at the same time guaranteeing greater structural strength. Being natural stone with an age that sometimes exceeds one million years, the top cannot be defined as 'perfect': each slab is different from the other with more or less marked veins, depending on the cutting and polishing processes. It may present natural micro imperfections, a characteristic feature of marble and not attributable to defects. Marble tops are naturally porous: any protective polyester treatment hides this porosity to the touch, leaving all the natural features of the slab visible.
Polyester finish: a treatment that evens out the marble surface and covers any micro-holes and grouting, making the top shinier and enhancing the beauty of its veining. The polyester-treated top is also more waterproof (any stains must however be removed promptly).
Brushed finish: a process that gives the stone an irregular surface, but without porosity, with the grain pattern appearing slightly raised to the touch. The surface is more opaque and slightly lighter in colour than the slab without treatment.
