Description

Arenas is an extending oak table that pays homage to the architectural style of ancient Greece, thanks to the solid "sculptural" base made entirely of metal, composed of two crosspieces, which intersect, starting from the floor plate, and rise transversally to support the top.The protagonist is wood, veneered or solid wood, modelled to form a top of significant thickness, with a "worked" straight edge , inclined or with irregular profiles, declined in finishes that enhance the natural characteristics of wood, grains and knots.Fixed with a width of up to three metres, Arenas shows its great versatility thanks to the extension mechanisms, single 100 cm folding, or double 50 cm, the latter can also be used individually, in two width steps, with a telescopic mechanism. A real constructive "plus" is the possibility, for the fixed versions, to combine a bayonet side extension system, or a bayonet retractable extension system, so as to transform a fixed table into an extendable one. Thanks to this, the basic stylistic concept is not "altered" but rather enhanced even more, combining versatility and solidity.

Technical Specifications and Equipment
Fixed Top Versions
- 4 cm thick with straight / slanted / shaped edges veneered / solid European oak with a brushed finish or veneered / solid walnut with a smooth finish, both using only water-based vinyl glues.
- 4 cm thick with irregular edges in solid European oak on the long sides with a brushed or veneered finish / solid walnut on the long sides with a smooth finish, both using only water-based vinyl adhesives. Blockboard support with 15/10 veneer top and bottom.
Top Extensible versions:
- 4 cm thick on blockboard support with 15/10 top and bottom veneer, 5 cm thick blockboard perimeter framing with European oak veneer edges with brushed finish, both using water-based vinyl glues only.

Base: steel tube structure section 8x8 cm, thickness 2 cm. Floor support plate cm 95 p.50 thickness 1.2 cm; powder coated or oxidised with acrylic finish.

Run Extension System: allows the table to be extended by means of a soft and fluid synchronised movement, in two 50 cm steps. The extensions answered in the under-top storage compartment can also be used individually. The frame of the opening mechanism is always made of black metal.

Poker Extension System: allows the table to be extended by a single 100 cm folding extension. The movement is accompanied by a metal support that facilitates the opening manoeuvre. The frame of the opening mechanism is always made of black metal.

Optional
Bayonet Side Extensions: allow a fixed table to be transformed into an extendable one. The system involves the installation of special under-top plates, into which the fixing rods with which the extensions are fitted are inserted: these must be stored separately. The extensions are each 50 cm wide and are in the same colour as the top (with continuity of grain sought after, but not guaranteed). Under-top plates and fixing rods are always in black painted metal.
Side extensions with concealed bayonet: they allow a fixed table to be transformed into an extendable one.
Extension case: very useful to protect the wooden extensions that must necessarily be stored separately.

Wood: is a noble and natural material, whose strength and durability are guaranteed by a careful selection process and skilful craftsmanship. It is a living material, which evolves over time and changes in symbiosis with its environment: small irregularities or surface imperfections are therefore not to be considered defects but characteristics that enhance the product's uniqueness and strictly natural origin. These peculiarities, which are never the same, can include small visual irregularities such as flaming, colour changes, knots and putty; or material ones, such as small holes, surface cracks and irregular edges.

Maintenance Tips
Wood: for daily cleaning use only a dry cotton cloth or, in the case of stubborn dirt, slightly dampened with lukewarm water and neutral soap. Always clean in the direction of the grain. Do not use microfibre cloths, degreasing agents, aggressive detergents, solvents, acetone, ammonia or steam cleaners. If stains appear on the surface, they must be cleaned promptly to prevent the stain from being absorbed by the wood. The surface must then be wiped with a dry cloth to prevent it from remaining damp.
Wood is particularly afraid of coloured and acidic products such as tomato, wine, coffee, cola or cooking fat. Sudden changes in temperature and contact with very hot or moist objects should also be avoided. The ideal room humidity for optimum storage of a wood complement is between 50 and 60%, in well ventilated rooms and not exposed to direct natural light.

Natural Bio Oak" wood with a natural oil finish: oil is a product that preserves the natural structure of the wood and protects the surface without clogging the pores, thus facilitating minor maintenance work. However, it is necessary, at least once a year, to regenerate the surface by applying a light coat of natural wood oil with a cotton cloth, following the direction of the grain. With a dry cloth, again made of cotton, remove the excess oil and leave to dry for at least 48 hours before resuming normal use of the complement.
