Description

Montevideo is an industrial table with a wooden top and four iron legs , a true metropolitan style classic.
The four black painted metal legs deliberately contrast with the wooden top, a natural material available in a variety of brushed oak finishes, giving it an aged look with a strong material texture. Also available in the precious walnut wood veneer, the top is made of both veneered and solid wood, with the possibility of customising the edges of the long sides: from the straight stadanrd edge, to the rustic debarked edge, to the elegant slanted edge or "swan neck" finish.
The Montevideo table is extremely versatile: rectangular or barrel-shaped, it is offered either in a fixed version with a width from 160 to 300 cm or extendable, with compact dimensions from 140 to 180 cm that can be extended up to 276 cm. All the fixed versions with straight or irregular barked edges are also convertible into extendable by purchasing the kit of two bayonet extensions: in this case, truly imposing dimensions are reached, up to 4 metres wide, with as many as 16 people at the table.

Structure: four 12 x 4 cm steel profile legs, powder-coated black.

Fast Extension System: allows the table to be easily extended in two 48 cm intervals. The two extensions, matching the top and 2 cm thick, are contained inside the table. The extension system disappears almost completely and is always in black painted metal.

Optional
Bayonet Side Extensions: allow a fixed table to be transformed into an extendable one. The system involves the installation of special under-top plates, into which the fixing rods with which the extensions are fitted are inserted: these must be stored separately. The extensions are each 50 cm wide and are in the same colour as the top (with continuity of grain sought after, but not guaranteed). Under-top plates and fixing rods are always in black painted metal.
Side Extensions with Concealed Bayonet: allow a fixed table to be transformed into an extendable one. The system foresees that the supporting bayonets are "embedded" in the thickness of the top and extracted if necessary by means of a push-pull system. The extensions, which must be stored separately, are each 50 cm wide, are in the same colour as the top (the continuity of the vein is sought after, but not guaranteed) and are supplied with a metal handle to facilitate handling. The bayonets are also made of black painted metal.
Extension case: very useful to protect the wooden extensions that must necessarily be stored separately.

Wood: is a noble and natural material, whose strength and durability are guaranteed by a careful selection process and skilful craftsmanship. It is a living material, which evolves over time and changes in symbiosis with its environment: small irregularities or surface imperfections are therefore not to be considered defects but characteristics that enhance the product's uniqueness and strictly natural origin. These peculiarities, which are never the same, can include small visual irregularities such as flaming, colour changes, knots and putty; or material ones, such as small holes, surface cracks and irregular edges.

Maintenance Tips
Wood: for daily cleaning use only a dry cotton cloth or, in the case of stubborn dirt, slightly dampened with lukewarm water and neutral soap. Always clean in the direction of the grain. Do not use microfibre cloths, degreasing agents, aggressive detergents, solvents, acetone, ammonia or steam cleaners. If stains appear on the surface, they must be cleaned promptly to prevent the stain from being absorbed by the wood. The surface must then be wiped with a dry cloth to prevent it from remaining damp.
Wood is particularly afraid of coloured and acidic products such as tomato, wine, coffee, cola or cooking fat. Sudden changes in temperature and contact with very hot or moist objects should also be avoided. The ideal room humidity for optimum storage of a wood complement is between 50 and 60%, in well ventilated rooms and not exposed to direct natural light.

Natural Bio Oak" wood with a natural oil finish: oil is a product that preserves the natural structure of the wood and protects the surface without clogging the pores, thus facilitating minor maintenance work. However, it is necessary, at least once a year, to regenerate the surface by applying a light coat of natural wood oil with a cotton cloth, following the direction of the grain. With a dry cloth, again made of cotton, remove the excess oil and leave to dry for at least 48 hours before resuming normal use of the complement.
