Bevelling: through this technique a perimeter band that varies between 10 and 40 mm and with a corner that is lower than 90° per standard (usually of 7°). It is a very delicate process made precious by mirrors and refined tops.

Heritage Oak: Heritage oak essence is a stunning example of use of a wood coming from “no deforestation”. The slabs from which this essence is obtained come from wooden structures belonging to antique houses, factories, farms or laboratories that have been entirely demolished. Most of them are from Central or Eastern Europe.

Products made in Heritage oak are manufactured through veneers obtained by the cut of the above mentioned slabs, that before being worked are selected, and deprived from nails and iron materials contained inside them.

Every slab is different from the others once cut as each of them has a different story and a different extent of preservation throughout time. This life is visible in the black shade you will find in the cracks and in the hollows due to oxide around where were set nails.

Keramik Stone:the tops in Keramik stone can be manufactured with a particular stone effect that recalls the natural shades of stones and marbles. The lower part of the top is manufactured in bevelled transparent glass, that looks black because of the attachment through glues. We suggest to clean the top without using vapour machines or abrasive products. We suggest also to use mild liquid detergents that must be removed with a wet sponge. In case you would notice spots or halos we suggest to pass the top with a mixture of water and bicarbonate, let it work a few minutes and then clean with a wet sponge. As this is a porous materials, it is important to remove dirt straight away to avoid that substances could penetrate inside the top.

Mirrored Glass: top proposed in bronze or smoked mirror glass. The resistance to scratches of the mirror surface can be compared to that of a normal glass top. Small signs and carvings caused by everyday use can be underlined by an ordinary use and can be made more visible because of the light reflected on the surfaces. they can't therefore be considered as production defects.

Manufacturer

This item is the result of the great creative energy of Cattelan Italia, a company from Veneto region, founded in 1979. The initial manufacturing focused on small marble furniture accessories and tables designed for the foreign market. In the 80s the interest of the national market for these refined products increases, encouraging the company to widen its offer of dining tables, chairs, bookcases and accessories for sitting and living rooms.

The house is the symbol of the things most dear to you – Giorgio Cattelan loves to say – a world were you are surrounded by items comforting in both shape and essence. Because for me what is beautiful has to be functional too”. For more than thirty years this brand furnishes both modern and classic houses, while constantly widening the offered items. In 2011 Cattelan assimilate ARKETIPO, a renown company from Florence famous all over the world for the production of design upholstered items.

The company is today present in more than 150 countries worldwide, with more than 350 stores in the cities of Milan, Cologne, Paris, Moscow and many others. Cattelan Italia attends every year to national and international furniture fairs, such as Milan's International Furniture Fair, Cologne IMM Expo, the Maison et Objet in Paris.

Their headquarters is developed on 33.000 square metres, a breeding ground of creative minds collaborating with renowned architects and designers.
