How can I evaluate the colour and material samples?

The digitisation of material samples from furniture collections that we offer, is an elaborate process in which care, attention to detail and the use of advanced technological tools are standard working methods for diotti.com. Unfortunately, other websites have litterally 'copied and pasted' our statement in recent years, but no one has been willing to devote the necessary human and technological resources to actually do it (often even a quick glance can clearly show this). The samples presented on diotti.com are equivalent to reality in terms of the visual rendering of textured and colours.

However important, dedicated and, above all, 'methodical' our efforts to achieve optimal perfornace of our digital samples may be, it is important to note that the final effect can be influenced by various circumstances, which can be easily managed by following these tips:
- check that the screen has the factory settings to drastically reduce the possibility of altered vision;
- check that there is no direct light on the screen when viewing;
- we recommend moving slightly in front of the monitor to check how the colour changes with the viewing angle between your eyes and the screen (our technicians calibrate colours in perfectly frontal viewing conditions);
- any colour applied to any magterial undergoes a moderate but perceptible darkening effect when viewed on limited surfaces: it is therefore likely that the products delivered (which are obviously larger than the samples) may appear slightly lighter than the sample presented; this optical effect is absolutely common, slight, and perceived by the vast majority of people;
- any glossy material may appear lighter than its matt version due to the different refraction of light: the difference is more evident the darker the colour. Even the colours of glass can vary depending on the thickness and overall size of the product due to the refraction of the light on the surface;
- colour and texture of natural materials (wood, lether, stone, ...) depend on the natural variability of the processes and factors that lead to the formation of the material itself and may be less noticeable on the sample than on the finished product;
- grain patterns in wood or wood-effect finishes: the direction of the grain is determined by the production process based on the chosen composition.

Do you send material samples?

We do not ship material samples. We do not do so for reasons of technical/organisational feasibility and because of the alternatives we offer. In terms of technical/organisational feasibility, we have around 12.000 materials in our collection, which are requested by the thousands of users we serve every day, from dozens of countries in Europe and around the world... The sample delivery service might potentially be manageable if we had tens or even hundreds of materials in our collection, but it is not manageable with the levels of extreme customisation that we offer our customers. What's more, the perception gained from a tiny piece is often misleading (especially for materials with a distinctive texture). As an alternative to sending samples, we offer our users and customers the combined result of a digitisation process dedicated to the faithful represantion of textures and colours and in-depth, professional telephone consultation

Can I find your collections in stores?

We serve our customers directly at our Showrooms, without relying on retailers. We have been selling mainly online since 2008: product cards, product configurators and Digital Samples are all tools designed to be used remotely, either independently or with the support of our assistance and advice. diotti.com is available exlusively online on its portal and at our offices.

Is there a standard for defining the side of the products?

As regards hinged doors, the direction of the element is defined by the position of the hinges: hinges on the left correspond to left-hand opening, hinges on the right correspond to right-hand opening. For all other elements, the standard is: "the side is defined by looking at the product from the front". The side may refer to the position of a chaise longue for a sofa, the position of the TV for a wall unit, the position of a particular shape for a kids bed,...

Do you provide replacements for items or parts of items not purchased from you?

We do not supply individual components of an item not purchased on diotti.com as it is not possible to guarantee that the new part will be perfectly compatible with the one already in the customer's possession. We therefore recommend contacting the retailer where the product was purchased.
We obviously guarantee our customers full assistance over the years for any replacements under warranty or even outside the warranty period: in the latter case, if issues of incompatibility between the parts arise after some time, they would be minor and we would receive the full support of the manufaring company./p>

I have completed my order but have not received any email. What should I do?

In very rare cases, the order email may be viewed as advertising by the email system, or blocked by some email providers. If you have not received your order confirmation email, please contact our Customer Service team, who will forward you a new email with your order details.

Pagamenti

How will I know when my bank transfer has been verified?

By logging in to your Account you can see the status of your orders: if the status is "Waiting for Bank Transfer notification" it means that our bank is still waiting to receive the transfer (it takes 3 days on an average). Once we receive confirmation from the bank the order is passed on to production and the Order Status changes to "In Production". You can find more infos on the Order Status page.

What kind of tax documentation do you issue?

diotti.com issue a regular sales invoice for all payments received. For clients from the EU (privates or companies) we issue a deposit invoice upon receipt of the down payment and a sales invoice once we receive the balance. For EXTRA UE clients we issue an invoice of the total amount upon receipt of the first installment. The invoice is sent electronically to the Italian Revenue Agency's Exchange System and in PDF format to the Customer via email. The sales invoice also works for the 24 months warranty.

Can I change my billing details?

The billing details inserted during the order can be modified until the invoice is issued, which occurs when the first payment is verified. Since January the 1st, 2019 electronic invoicing has been mandatory, and therefore, once issued, the invoice will be immediately sent to the Italian Revenue Agency through the Exchange System (SDI).

Why do I need to write my Birth Date and Place?

While placing the order you will be ask to write either a Fiscal Code, if you are resident in Italy or your birth date and place if you are a foreign customer in order to correctly issue the invoice at the moment of the payment. We do want to reassure our customers that: A - all collected pieces of information (name, surname, birth date and place, total amount) will be transmitted solely to the Italian Revenue Agency (which in any case will only survey them if they belong to Italian citizens); B -Il modulo d'ordine richiede obbligatoriamente l'inserimento del Codice Fiscale (un codice che tutti gli italiani hanno dalla nascita) per la corretta emissione dalla fattura al momento del pagamento. diotti.com emette regolare fattura di vendita per i pagamenti ricevuti e la invia elettronicamente al Sistema di Interscambio dell'Agenzia delle Entrate che a sua volta richiede obbligatoriamente un Codice Fiscale valido corrispondente ai dati identificativi dell'acquirente.

Spedizione e Consegna

Posso modificare l'indirizzo di spedizione?

E' possibile modificare l'indirizzo di spedizione, per verificare la fattibilità di questa e altre modifiche vi invitiamo a consulare l'apposita scheda prodotto: Modifiche al Tuo Ordine. Non è sufficiente modificare i dati all'interno del proprio Account.

Iva e Agevolazioni

I prezzi indicati su diotti.com includono l'Iva?

I prezzi indicati su diotti.com sono sempre Iva inclusa, per i paesi dell'Unione Europea, la Svizzera e il Regno Unito; i prezzi sono indicati Iva "esclusa" solo per i paesi extra-EU (e diversi da Svizzera e Regno Unito).

diotti.com come calcola l'esenzione d'Iva per i paesi ExtraEU?

Selezionando la spedizione in Svizzera e nel Regno Unito il sistema ricalcola il Totale e mostra il prezzo Iva inclusa (rispettivamente 8,1% e 20%). Per Stati Uniti e Canada (ed altri paesi Extra Eu) il Carrello mostra prezzi Iva esclusa e viene emessa fattura Iva esente: Iva ed altre tasse dipendono dal paese di spedizione e sono a carico dell'acquirente (il costo del servizio di Gestione del Ritiro Extra UE è pari a € 90,00).

Siamo un'azienda nell'Unione Europea, come gestite l'Iva intracomunitaria?

diotti.com pubblica i prezzi comprensivi di Iva in tutti i paesi dell'Unione Europea: per acquistare in esenzione d'Iva è opportuno contattare il nostro Servizio Clienti prima dell'acquisto. 

È possibile richiedere l'Iva agevolata per l'acquisto di mobili?

Per le vendite in Italia si applica l'Iva al 22% su tutti gli articoli offerti. Per l'acquisto di mobili destinati all'arredamento di immobili in ristrutturazione consultate la pagina dedicata al Bonus Mobili.

Per i materassi con certificazione di dispositivo medico è possibile detrarre in sede di denuncia dei redditi il 19% delle spese sostenute. Per ottenere la detrazione è necessario disporre della prescrizione del medico curante e dell'autocertificazione che attesti la necessità del soggetto che effettuerà l'acquisto specificando la motivazione. La richiesta di tale documentazione dovrà essere inoltrata via mail al momento dell'ordine.
