Description

Comet Lounge is a sliding wardrobe with wooden or lacquered doors with a discreet and functional 30 or 100 cm groove opening, which can be created in various compositions and with customised height. The two large doors, three for the 434.5 cm wide version, delicately conceal the wardrobe's ample modularity, giving it a strong and refined scenographic impact. In addition to the pure expression of oak wood or the lacquer colours, Comet Lounge can be embellished with notable workmanship such as inserts or engravings.

True added value, is the possibilty of creating high quality material contrasts, thanks to the central panel that can be made to contrast with the lacquer of the lower and upper parts of the door.
To complete the extensive customisation available for the Comet Lounge, there are numerous interior fittings such as drawer units, pull-out trays, shelves, rasters and LED lighting.

The Lounge sliding wardrobes derive from the day collection of the same name and combine perfectly with it: either to link living and sleeping areas under a strong aesthetic unity, or to create unique compositions by combining hinged modules, boiseries and open compartments equipped with shelves, large shelves and dressing table.

Useful height: To obtain the useful internal height of the wardrobe, simply remove the thicknesses of the adjustable feet (0.5 cm), the base (3.2 cm) and the lid (2.5 cm) from the overall height of the composition. Some examples:
- for wardrobe cm h.226: cm 219,8
- for wardrobe cm h.260: cm 253,8.

Please Note: Sides and doors are always supplied without edging on the short sides. This difference in finish, which is often hidden from view once the wardrobe is assembled, deliberately leaves the solid pine frame of the honeycomb sandwich panel exposed in order to enhance the wooden component of the element and show the high quality of the finished product.

The following is required to assemble the body:
- in width 4 cm (if installed in a niche 2 cm)
- in height 8 cm

Honeycomb sandwich panel: this is a panel made with an internal heonycomb structure and a 5 / 7 cm perimeter frame in first choice solid pine closed with two 0.3 / 0.4 cm thick MDF panels, subsequently lacquered or veneered.
The advantages of honeycomb sandwhich panels are:
- greater durability;
- greater load resistance;
- significantly reduced panel weight (up to 60% less), which is useful for transport, assembly, moving or relocation, avove all for reducing the wight of the sashes on the structure and hardware;
- hardware always fixed to the perimeter (solid pine wood) of the sides and doors, so the hinges will have greater strength and the furniture will last considerably longer;
- better resistance to humidity, as the material 'breathers';
- exclusively '100% Made in Italy' product.
Aged Oak: compared to 'standard' open-pore oak, aged oak is characterised by a slightly more brushed surface, which shows a deeper pore and a more evident grain. This difference is more noticeable on important surfaces such as tables, wall units and wardrobes, less so on accessories, beds and bed sets.
