Description

Planeur is a floating bed with a wide headboard, which brings a refined, unique aesthetic impact to the room. The headboard protrudes beyong the bed frame, creating a delicate and harmonious design, especially in the version with protruding panels.
The design of the Planeur bed varies depending on the headboard; asymmetrical with a lateral protruding panel, or symmetrical, protruding on both sides. The bed frame develops from the bottom upwards, delicately supported by the transparent methacrylate support, or by the storage box with an inclined cut, entirely made in slate gray finish. The 45° oblique cuts of the headboard reflect the maximum attention to detail concentrated in this bed with strong character. The bed can be equipped with metal shelves, freely positionable, wooden shelves with a floating effect, matching the bed frame, and an LED lighting system, perfectly integrated in the upper profile, lower profile in the case of the protruding headboard, and along the bed frame.

Technical Specifications and Equipment
Bed composed of modular headboard panels in different sizes and sommier with 160 / 170 / 180 cm structural bed base.
The headboard panels are fixed to the wall by means of a support bar and adjustable hooks, with a 30° frontal inclination to facilitate the possible positioning of the back to the same headboard. The sommier model with headboard flush with the bed frame is freely positionable and requires wall fastening on the headboard side, and is provided with a support foot in transparent methacrylate on the footboard side, or shaped metal in the case of a box-container.
In the case of fixing on low-resistance walls, the insertion of an additional metal support foot on the headboard side is recommended.
The headboard can be equipped with upper LED bars, and lower ones in models with protruding panels, and fitted with metal shelves, leather-covered headrest panels. The headboard panels for models with a protruding side are provided with a hole for the possible accommodation of electrical sockets.
The patented storage box is fixed in suspension on the metal support frame and recessed with respect to the side rails and footboard so that it is barely visible, thus enhancing the slim lines of the bed. The suspended box also permits air recirculation in the presence of radiant floors and adequate vacuum cleaning of the area under the bed. The finish of the box is always slate grey melamine.

Container: 350 litre capacity; can be fitted with a handy storage tray in matt black sheet metal, to be inserted in front of the box.
Support Foot : metal foot to be added on the headboard side, in case of fixing to low-resistance walls.
LED lighting: the headboard panels can be backlit by means of an 11 x 11 mm LED bar in opal polycarbonate 3000K - 10W recessed in the back of the panel, on an upper profile, and or lower in the case of protruding panels.
The LED lighting for the bed frame is composed of 2 LED bars 100 cm wide, positioned on the lower profile of the long sides of the bed frame. The light that is generated is a light with total and uniform diffusion and is switched on by means of a touch switch. N.B. In models fitted with storage box, the headboard lighting and the bed-ring lighting under the storage box have separate switch-ons. In the case of insertion of the bed-ring lighting only, the lighting will be switched on by connection to the home network, with power supply included.

Assembly tips
For greater mounting security on walls with low resistance we recommend the use of an optional additional metal foot on the headboard side.
