Description

Vortex is a designer console table with a metal ring base, painted in black, charcoal, titanium or broze. The base pairs with the hammered, fused or painted glass top, or ceramic top available in a range of precious finishes like matte Portoro, glossy Alabaster, glossy Onyx or glossy Calacatta Gold. Alternatively, select a marble top in Carrara, Nero Marquinia, Emperador or Green Alps.
Vortex is a console designed to be the protagonist of the space into which it is inserted, finding its ideal placement in an elegant entryway or matched with the table, coffee table or desk of the same collection, creating a perfectly coodridated interior.

Glass Top: lacquered under-top with thickness of 35 mm matching the base, paired with 6 mm thick tempered glass (with charcoal base and black under-top).
Ceramic Top: lacquered under-top with thickness of 35 mm matching the base, paired with 6 mm thick ceramic (with charcoal base and black under-top).
Marble Top: lacquered under-top with thickness of 25 mm, paired with 20 mm thick marble.

Material Specifications
Marble: elegant material, characterised by open veins that can sometimes present resin-based fillings that even out the surface in the event of slight surface roughness, while at the same time ensuring greater structural resistance. Since it is a natural stone that is sometimes over a million years old, the surface cannot be defined as "perfect": each slab is different from the other with more or less marked veins, depending on the cutting and polishing processes. It may present natural micro imperfections, a characteristic of marble and not attributable to defects. Marble surfaces are naturally porous: any protective polyester treatment hides this texture, while leaving all the natural features of the slab visible.
Hammered Glass: obtained by working the sheet in a melting furnace (for this reason it is also called "cooked glass"). The already shaped sheet is in fact heated and then left to cool: during the cooling phase the glass "relaxes" acquiring the particular texture: the effect that is obtained as a result is a wavy surface that recalls that of wrought iron, rich and textured both to the sight and to the touch, which gives pleasant plays of light, shadows and reflections.
