Maintenance Tips
Veneered: use neutral liquid detergents for cleaning. To remove limescale stains, wipe the surface with a sponge soaked in vinegar or anti-limescale product, then rinse and dry. Do not use acids, abrasive products or powders; do not leave anti-limescale products in contact with the surface for a prolonged period of time, as this could create halos.
Lacquer: use soft, non-abrasive cloths for cleaning to avoid damaging the surface. Do not use products containing solvents, acetone or abrasives, nor wax, alcohol or silicone-based products.
Wood: 'living' material protected superficially by varnish; for cleaning, use a soft, non-abrasive, damp, well-wrung cloth. It is recommended to clean the top in the direction of the grain and dry carefully.
Laminated HPL: for cleaning use a soft, damp cloth, without wringing so as not to scratch or abrade the top. The use of neutral detergents is recommended. Absolutely do not use abrasive or scratching substances (abrasive powders or detergents, scouring pads), detergents or descaling agents or drain cleaners containing acids or strongly acidic salts (based on hydrochloric, formic or aminosulphatic acid), metal cleaners.
Avoid pouring boiling liquids into the basin and use steam cleaners. After use, it is good practice to dry the wash basin to prevent limescale build-up. In the case of stubborn limescale, kitchen vinegar may be used on the affected area, leaving it to work for max. 5 min. and rinsing immediately afterwards. The use of concentrated limescale remover (e.g. Viakal) is highly inadvisable.

Layered HPL: high thickness laminate (10 mm) consisting internally of layers of cellulose fibres impregnated with phenolic resins while the outer layers are impregnated with thermosetting resins. The whole undergoes polycondensation of the resins with high pressure (9Mpa) combined with heat of 150° during pressing. The surface itself is rough.
