Technical study

For more information...
Bevelling: it is a processing performed on mirrors, glasses, and clear glasses in order to refine them and smooth the edges; this processing creates a perimetrical band with variable width from 10 to 40 mm and with a standard corner lower than 90° (generally 7°). It is a very delicate and precious procedure that is performed on mirrors and high-quality tops.

Rovere Heritage: Oak is a great example of a recovered material and "no deforestation" policy. The beams used for this wood come from Oakwood structures belonging to old houses, stables, labs and factories which have been completely demolished, the biggest part comes from Central or Eastern Europe.

Heritage Oak products are crafted through the veneer technique, obtained by cutting selected beams after the removal of nails and other iron-based elements.

Each lot of beams is different from the other because each one of it has a different story and a different state of preservation. The previous "life" of these beams makes the "black patina" a feature of the wood cracks; moreover, the places where the nails used to be also present oxide.

Masterwood: exclusive processing by Cattelan Italia, which consists in the making of slats - different among each other depending on measurements and grains - diagonally positioned. The result is a texture and chromed-made always new in a way that every table could be considered a unique item.

Keramik Stone: the Keramik stone tops are made with a particular ceramic stone effect which reminisces the natural nuances of the stones. The lower part of the top is bevelled clear glass made, which is black, due to the bonding process.
For the cleanliness of the top, it is advisable not to use steam machines or abrasive products. It is advisable to use delicate liquid detergents, to be removed with a wet sponge. If stains or glows appear, it is advisable to scrub the top with a combination of baking soda and water, to let be active a few minutes and to clean with a wet sponge. Being a natural porous material, it is important to remove as soon as possible the dirt in a way to avoid that the substances enter the top.

CrystalArt: it is a tempered and bevelled clear glass, decorated with a printed pattern on the back of the glass, this decoration is applied during the tempering phases of the manufacturing process. The pattern is always the same but the effect changes according to the size of the top.
