Olimpia is a Scandinavian design wooden chair, characterised by soft, well-defined lines, a solid beech wood frame and a wide, enveloping backrest. The Scandinavian inspiration is undeniable, thanks to the material mix of upholstery and wood, and the silhouette which is simple and concrete. Without armrests Olimpia is a light and versatile chair that can be used in living rooms with a modern character or in large contemporary kitchens. In the "armchair" version equipped with armrests, the structure develops laterally, creating a graceful play of "empty/full" spaces between the seat and backrest, and ends with the two wooden elements directly joined to the seat, thus determining a more sober and formal character.

The stained beech finish is made with a through-varnish that leaves the wood grain visible; the colour is desaturated compared to the open-pore lacquer, which instead presents a solid colour. The colour reference is indicative, as the varnish may take on different shades depending on how it is absorbed by the underlying wood grain and may therefore be fuller or more veiled.
