The chair Aliseo is considered to be a product with reduced environmental impact since it is disassemblable into its main parts (wood, metals, fabrics and padding), thanks to the choice of using mechanical fasteners such as joints, screws and bolts instead of gluing.
A good percentage of the materials used is potentially recyclable: for example, multilayer panels and particle boards can be recycled to produce panels of wood particles; parts in polyurethane foam can be comminuted to obtain a compound to be used in slabs of low value (gym mats, shoes and so on..); padding in polyester, fabrics and natural fibers can be used to produce new recycled fibers; aluminum and steel have a consolidated recovery cycle thus reducing the consumption of primary resources derived directly from the mine.
