Joao is a bed with a high shaped headboard characterised by vertical quilting. The stitching in fact marks out its width and together with the curvilinear profile, narrower at the base and rounded towards the top, enhance the vertical effect of an important and slender headboard.
The bed frame can be floor-standing measuring h.30 cm, or be raised off the ground be high feet in the h.25 version, with or without a storage container. Instead, the feet can also be thin and minimal measuring h.5 or 10 cm in stark contrast to the with headboard. All versions include a comfortable and ergonomic sleeping surface with an orthopedic wooden slatted base, also with back stiffness regulators. The patented single or double lifting mechanisms guarantee reliability over time and ease of use for daily access to the the large storage container.
The Joao bed is available in models from the 80 cm single to the 180 cm double bed with a customizable depth between 200 and 190 cm, and in the super king size version with a 200 x 200 cm bed base. The bed can be customised not only in terms of size but also aesthetics: the wooden, metal or plexiglass feet differ in shape and finish and can be lacquered in RAL to match the bed upholstery perfectly. The upholstery is completely removable, and can be selected from a rich variety of materials which include smooth or textured fabrics, velvets, microfibre, chenille and faux leather, or even in natural full grain leather or Nubuck.
