Description

Reef is a low coffee table with a marble top for the living room that combines style and functionality, mixing precious materials such as marble and wood with fluid, sinuous forms. The 'uprights' of the base are made of ash wood, which also feature on the bookcase of the same family and can be perfectly matched. The rectangular shaped top, with an irregular profile, is offered in wonderful variations in marble stone, or in wood to match the base, with the added value of solid wood edges.

The three proposed heights offer considerable versatility of use, and in relation to the width of the top, allow for positioning at both the front and side of the sofa, all enhanced by the possibility of creating sophisticated combinations of materials and dimensions, juxtaposing two or more elements of different heights. An elegant solution to fill the living room, perhaps "softening" the soft and generous shapes of sofas and armchairs.

Technical study

Material Specifications
Marble: elegant and refined stone marble, characterised by open veins that sometimes may present some resin based speckles that create a uniform and smooth surface so that the top comes with no irregularities, granting additional structural resistance. Because it is a natural stone that is sometimes more than a million years old, the surface cannot be defined as 'perfect'; each piece is different from the next, depending on the cutting and polishing process. It may have natural micro imperfections, a characteristic of marble and not due to defects. Marble tops are naturally porous: any protective polyester treatment hides this porosity to the touch, leaving all the natural features of the stone visible.
