Description

Mirage by Cantori is a modern table with a marble top, available in either a round version with a central base or a rectangular barrel-shaped version with four bronzed metal legs. Both structures are made of folded sheet metal and recall the shapes of the Mirage collection of the same name, thus offering the possibility of a perfectly coordinated Cantori living area.
The top, regardless of shape, material and finish, is always placed on an elegant black lacquered wooden under-top: a characterising element, because it creates a natural transition between structure and top, whether in wood or stone. In the round version, the top is divided into several apparently irregular parts, matching each other but with contrasting veins: an original solution that gives great dynamism to the table without detracting from its impressiveness, highlighting the attention to detail and the quality of the workmanship.
On the round models, it is also possible to have the Lazy Susan revolving tray as an optional extra: in the form of a bronzed plate resting on the wooden tops, or as a refined element flush with the marble top.

Technical study

Material Specifications
Marble: an elegant material, characterised by open veins that can sometimes have resin-based fillings that even out the top in the event of slight surface roughness, while guaranteeing greater structural resistance. Being natural stone with an age that sometimes exceeds one million years, the top cannot be defined as 'perfect': each slab is different from the other with more or less marked veins, depending on the cutting and polishing processes. It may present natural micro imperfections, a characteristic of marble and not attributable to defects. Marble tops are naturally porous: any protective polyester treatment hides this porosity to the touch, leaving all the slab's natural features visible.
