Torquay is a design table with a wrap-around base composed of painted metal plates curved inwards to create a sinuous, sculptural base.The metal base matches the table top, which is available round with a diameter of 130, 140, 160 and 180 cm or rectangular and shaped with lengths from 200 cm to over 300 cm. The top of the Torquay table is available in stained ash veneered wood, glossy black or hammered back-lacquered glass, ceramic or marble. Thanks to the numerous combinations of size, material and top frame finishes, the Torquay table can fit perfectly into any modern and refined dining room.

The glass top is 1.2 cm thick for 200 and round models, while it is 1.5 cm thick for tables larger than 240/300 cm. The top in hammered glass is 1 cm thick.Ceramic Top: 0.6 cm thick porcelain stoneware coupled with 1 cm thick tempered glass. Easy to clean and resistant to scratches, wear and tear and high temperatures.Marble Top: 2 cm thick with slanted edges coupled with a 2 cm thick black wooden under-top. Marble tops are naturally porous: any protective polyester treatment hides this porosity to the touch, leaving all the natural features of the stone visible.Hammered glass: is obtained by working the sheet in a melting furnace (this is why it is also called 'fired glass'). The sheet that has already been moulded is in fact heated and then left to cool: as it cools, the glass 'relaxes', acquiring the particular texture: the effect you get as a result is a wavy surface reminiscent of wrought iron, rich and textured both to the eye and to the touch, which gives a pleaseant play of light, shadows and reflections.
