Technical Specifications and Features
Keramik top: sheet of laminated porcelain (0.6 cm thick) coupled with a sheet of transparent glass (1.2 cm thick) for a total thickness of 1.8 cm. For the matt and glossy Portoro finishes only, the porcelain is 0.5 cm thick (for a total thickness of 1.7 cm). For tables with a painted edge, the top is made of MDF with an upper porcelain insert 0.6 cm thick (0.5 cm for Portoro matt and glossy).
Wooden top: made of MDF veneered in essence (model with slanted edges, 4 cm thick for the 200x100 table, 5 cm for the 240x120 and 300x120), veneered in essence with painted edge (models with bevelled edge and with lower profile), made of MDF and solid wood veneered in essence (model with irregular solid wood edges, 4 cm thick).

Masterwood: processing proposed exclusively by Cattelan Italia, which consists in the creation of tops with strips - different in size and grain - positioned diagonally. The result is an ever-changing texture and colour rendering so that each table can be considered a unique piece.
Bevelling: this is a process carried out on mirrors, glass and crystal in order to finish them and round off the edges; through this process a perimeter band is created with a width varying from 10 to 40 mm and with an angle of less than the standard 90° (generally 7°). This is a very delicate and precious process that is carried out on highly valuable mirrors and tops.
Heritage Oak: Heritage Oak is a magnificent example of 'zero deforestation' wood recovery. In fact, the beams from which this essence is obtained come from oak beams and structures belonging to old houses, stables, workshops and factories that have been completely demolished, mostly in Central or Eastern Europe.
Heritage Oak products are made from veneer obtained by shearing these beams, which are selected and cleared of nails and any other ferrous material contained in them before being sent for shearing.
Each batch of beams is different from the next, once sheared, because each one has a different history and a different state of preservation over time. It is precisely the lived-in history of the beams that causes them to have a 'black patina' inside the cracks and oxide around the nail seats that were driven into them.
Keramik stone: the Keramik stone tops are made of a special stone-effect ceramic that picks up on the natural hues of stone. The underside of the top is made of transparent bevelled glass, which turns black after the bonding process.
When cleaning the top, it is recommended not to use steam machines or abrasive products. We recommend the use of mild liquid detergents, which should be removed with a wet sponge. In the case of stains or marks, it is recommended to rub the top with a solution of bicarbonate and water, which should be left to act for a few minutes and then wiped off with a wet sponge. Since it is a porous natural material, it is important to remove the dirt immediately to prevent substances from penetrating the top.
CrystalArt: this is an extra-clear, tempered and bevelled crystal, enriched by a graphic printed on the underside of the glass during the tempering process. The design is always the same (depending on the chosen finish), but the effect changes depending on the size of the top.
Extra-clear Glass: is treated in such a way as to considerably limit the "blue-green" effect typical of all glass and not influence or change the colour of the CrystalArt decoration.
